PUSHING FOOTBALL FORWARD
SPIRAL ISSUE
I — TRIBALISM
Spiral is a print and digital publication that bridges the gap between American football and culture.
Centered around the theme of “Tribalism”, Issue I explores the many footballing factions that makeup the United States. We aim to both celebrate and challenge these groups, by highlighting the game’s storied, yet troublesome history; the many relics and traditions shared by fans; legendary players and ‘superfans’ who have rose to mythic proportions, along with conversations with an array of creatives, athletes and individuals who are shaping the game today.
Features include interviews with Ryan Russell and Steven Harrington, essays by Michael McCambridge and Shawn Ghassemitari, artwork by Nathan Bell and Kellen Hatanaka and much more. SPIRAL Issue I features over 200 pages of specialty paper stocks with custom artwork, timeless photography and thought-provoking journalism.
